tuart has a Bachelor’s in Materials Engineering from North Carolina State and a  Doctorate in Materials Engineering, minor in Biomedical Engineering, from the University of California in Davis. He was an nuclear trained officer in the US Navy on the aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln and George Washington while they  were being built and taken through trials. Since moving to Arizona in 1995, he has led new product and new business development activities for the Medical  Products Division at WL Gore & Associates in Flagstaff. Recently, he lived for 3 years in Munich as he worked for Gore’s Fabrics Division. In his free time, Stuart loves to go boating, both power and sail, scuba dive and travel.
